Having achieved and experienced the digital hyper-growth in China for the past 3+ years, Alvin is returning to Singapore to continue driving the digital banking journey with HSBC. The uniqueness of Singapore poses great opportunity to grow and drive the rapid changing face of digital banking!

Alvin had regional experience having worked in Malaysia, Singapore and China for the past 14 years across large global consumer banks, regional digital media agency, web portal and early start-up companies! These experience come together well for Alvin as each of these is a critical building block in taking on the challenge of building successful digital bank.

In HSBC, Alvin focus on using digital to drive transformation, simplify and change the way banking works. The first few major progress includes integrating the online and offline banking experience with the launch of the 12,000 square feet high-tech flagship branch at Orchard Road, Singapore, shifting contact center's conversations to the digital channels and leverage digital to build engagement between relationship manager and customers. He is now looking forward to develop digital payments, globality, e-commerce and the important platform; mobile, besides having strong interest with the Internet of Thing (IoT), wearable and automobile technology.
