Prateek Panda is an entrepreneur, a technology freak, a wildlife lover and a passionate photographer. He also loves to travel. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the highly reputed S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.
He is the Co-founder and CMO at Appknox, a mobile security company that helps businesses and developers make their mobile apps more secure security audit service that detects vulnerabilities in mobile applications. He is also the Founder and Managing Editor of TheTechPanda.com, one of India's fastest growing startup blogs where he has interviewed more than 500 startup founders and written over 2000 articles to help the startup community.
He started his first venture, Achillean, at the age of 19 which catered to the software needs of educational institutes and SMEs. He also had a short stint at Pluggd.in, popularly known as the TechCrunch of India. Prateek writes for other platforms too, like Economic Times, BSchool.com, e27, KillerStartups.com and more.
Prateek has been to many of India's top institutes to speak on business, entrepreneurship and the benefits of spirituality, yoga and meditation in the lives of today's students and business managers. He has been a speaker at SPJIMR, XIMB, KIIT University, Utkal University, IIT KGP, NIT Raipur, etc. He has also been a guest speaker on BBC World Service Radio show Click where he discussed about mobile apps that can help women be safe and secure.
