About the Event

FST Media is delighted to host an executive-led roundtable discussion in partnership with AWS and Infostatus exploring the theme of Smart Healthcare: Leveraging Generative AI for Superior Customer Engagement.

Gathered over a complimentary three-course lunch service at Eureka 89, to discuss how generative AI can personalize patient interactions, support virtual assistants, enhance telemedicine, improve outcomes through data analysis, and address ethical and privacy concerns.

Hosted by A/prof Tam Nguyen, Deputy Director of Research at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and co-editor of AI in Medicine and Bradley Riley, CEO of Infostatus, the roundtable will cover the following key topics under Chatham House Rules.

  • Personalised Patient Interactions: How generative AI can be used to tailor patient interactions, providing personalised health advice, reminders for medication, and follow-up care based on individual patient data.
  • AI-Powered Virtual Assistants: The role of AI-powered virtual assistants in healthcare settings. Consider how they can handle routine inquiries, appointment scheduling, and preliminary diagnostic support, thereby freeing up healthcare professionals to focus on more complex tasks.
  • Enhancing Telemedicine: How generative AI can enhance telemedicine services by providing real-time language translation, generating summaries of patient visits, and offering decision support to clinicians during virtual consultations.
  • Data-Driven Insights for Improved Outcomes: How AI can analyse vast amounts of patient data to uncover trends and insights that can improve patient outcomes, predict potential health issues, and optimise treatment plans.
  • Ethical and Privacy Considerations: The ethical implications and privacy concerns associated with using generative AI in healthcare. Consider how to ensure data security, patient consent, and the responsible use of AI technologies to maintain trust and compliance with regulations.
