BaaS platform developer 10x Banking has confirmed a new partnership with Deloitte Australia, with the pair declaring their commitment to supporting mutual banks’ technology transformation programs.
The local partnership follows similar deals confirmed between 10x and Deloitte UK and US to spur digital transformations in the banking and mutuals sector globally.
Will Dale, APAC VP at 10x welcomed the local collaboration, enabling mutuals across Australia to, he said, “take advantage of modernising their technology and enact widespread change throughout their digital landscapes”.
“With relevant experts on the ground and Australian third-party software providers, mutuals receive a technology and banking solution that’s fit for purpose.”
10x added that the partnership, and the adaptability of its platform, would also enable mutuals to optimise their existing resources and focus their existing teams on the broader objectives of digital transformation.
“Without the need for specialist programmers, local and existing skills can be utilised,” 10x wrote.
Daniel Nilsson, Deloitte Australia partner and APAC BankingSuite leader said the consultancy was “committed to supporting the modernisation in the sector, and our relationship with 10x Banking will help us to achieve this.”
Among 10x Banking’s clients include Westpac, supporting the build out of its transaction platform for its institutional banking arm, and JP Morgan’s UK digital banking spin-off Chase, which runs on 10x software.
