The Monetary Authority of Singapore has last week announced that the second Singapore Fintech Festival would take place in early November.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) and SingEx Holdings are collaborating again to hold the second Singapore Fintech Festival from 13-17 November 2017.
The Festival would follow a similar one-week schedule as the successful 2016 instalment, which drew more than 13,000 participants from over 60 countries. Popular events including the Global Fintech Hackcelerator, the Fintech Awards and the Fintech Conference are confirmed returners to the festival, which would also showcase Singapore-based start-ups and disruptive technologies offerings in a local showcase.
MAS chief fintech officer, Sopnendu Mohanty said the agendas of the Regtech Forum, Tech Risk Conference and Fintech Conference would be combined to offer a richer program for 2017 and boost national cooperation on fintech learning.
“Last year’s Festival was a great start. This year’s Festival will be brighter, bigger, better,” he said.
“The Singapore Fintech Festival is an excellent platform for key stakeholders of the global and regional fintech community to connect, learn from one another, and co-create new solutions to real problems.”
