Dept for Infrastructure seeks new IT managed services provider

The Federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts has put forward a request for tender for a new service provider to supply “high-quality ITIL compliant IT managed services” for its agencies.

The tender requests for the supplier to drive the Department’s transition from the interim support service to a new IT infrastructure service, and to provide ongoing services for a new IT service management, including common services, service desk and end-user support, IT infrastructure operations and additional services.

Tender documents state that the chosen supplier must be a legal entity recognised under Australian law at the close of the tender, set for 10 July.

The delivery timeframe has been set for three years, between November 2023 and November 2026.

The Department will hold an industry briefing for interested parties on 6 June.
