May saw a number of high-profile appointments and departures across the financial services sector, with noteworthy additions to ANZ, ME and Kiwibank.
 

ANZ has appointed Ken Adams to the position of Group General Counsel. Adams succeeds Bob Santamaria, who will retire on 30 September.

ME has appointed Adam Crane to the position of Chief Finance Officer following the announcement of Gary Dickson will step down at the end of June 2019.

Citi has appointed Marc Luet to the position of Chief Executive for Australia and lead for Citi’s New Zealand business.

Westpac has appointed Jane Watts to the position of General Manager, Retail and Premium Bank.

Macquarie Group has appointed Kate Vetch to the position of Regional Head of Compliance for Macquarie Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

AMP has appointed John Patrick (JP) Moorhead to the position of Group Chief Financial Officer. Moorhead will vacate the role of CFO and Chief Operating Officer at AMP Capital, with Adrian Williams appointed as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

AMP has also appointed Marissa Bendyk to the position of General Counsel, Corporate and Governance & Group Company Secretary.

Bank of Queensland has appointed Adam McAnalen to the position of Chief Risk Officer.

Aussie (formerly Aussie Home Loans) has appointed Corey Drew to the position of State Manager SA/NT.

Suncorp has announced the departure of Michael Cameron, Chief Executive and Managing Director. Steve Johnston, Suncorp’s Chief Financial Officer, will serve as Acting Chief Executive until a successor is announced.

Heritage Bank has announced the retirement of Company Secretary Bill Armagnacq.

Bank of Queensland has appointed Patrick Allaway as Chair of its board following the retirement of Roger Davis. Allaway currently serves as non-executive director at Nine Entertainment Co and Domain Limited.

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has appointed Tim Plant, CEO General Insurance, Zurich Financial Services Australia and John Myler, CEO Insurance, the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland to its board.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has appointed Jacqueline Hey as its next Chair. Hey will succeed Robert Johanson, who will retire from the Board.

Kiwibank has appointed Hamish Rumbold to the new position of Chief Digital and Technology Officer.
