Doug Hammond

Doug Hammond is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Uniting NSW.ACT, with over 25 years of experience in both government and private sectors. Doug has extensive expertise in operational risk and information security, effectively managing diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives, senior managers, customers, and industry groups. He has led the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies and roadmaps across a range of industries. Doug is a recognized thought leader in the field, regularly presenting at conferences on topics such as cybersecurity response, digital transformation, and risk management. He was awarded the inaugural Not-for-Profit Security Leader of the Year by ITNews in 2024.
