Gemma Alker is an internationally award-winning Intrapreneur, Partnership and Engagement specialist, Leadership Expert, speaker, facilitator and published writer. Gemma works at the nexus of university-industry-government-big tech driving innovation, reputation and revenue strategies and opportunities to build digital skills for the future of work. She has more than 24 years’ experience designing and leading growth and impact strategies that are aligned to business, marketing and policy priorities for iconic and international brands, and influential business leaders. In 2023 Gemma received two International Stevie Awards for Women in Business, winning gold for Executive of the Year and silver for Innovator of the Year. She has qualifications from MIT, QUT, and is an AICD qualified board director and ICF leadership coach. Currently Gemma leads the global partnership strategy for Cisco and QUT as Director, Innovation Central Brisbane at Queensland University of Technology, and is the advisory boards for Women in Digital and Children’s Hospital Foundation.
