Gillian Gardiner is an experienced public sector leader, currently Executive Director of Innovation Operations for the Queensland Government. She oversees delivery of Advance Queensland programs that support innovation, investment, and economic growth, including groundbreaking industry partnerships for scale ups, First Nations and female founders. Gillian has held senior roles in state and federal government, including in tourism, arts and culture, economic development, and major events such as the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, policy development, and program delivery. Gillian holds an Executive Master of Public Administration from ANZSOG and is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Group.
