Julian Downs

As a technologist for the last 30 years Julian has continued to learn and evolve given the great pace of change.  Having experienced Banking, Energy, Education, Government and Retail sectors he has seen many different ways in which technology can be used and 2020 has accelerated that change.  He is passionate about leveraging technology for meaningful customer outcomes.  Currently the “Chief Technology Officer – Optimise Engineering” at Westpac NZ Julian’s focus is on removing waste and enabling outcome speed through engineering.
