With a MSc Telecommunications Engineer (Master Thesis on Cryptographic Protocols), Luis has over 25 years of experience in multiple fields of security and fraud management. He has spent the last 20 years working in BBVA Bank involved in Privacy Compliance, Security Risk Assessment and Engineering in SDLC.
Luis has been instrumental in designing BBVA Group Security Strategic Plans. He was the builder and Head of BBVA’s Global Security Center (detection, analysis, response and investigation of fraud and security events, ethical hacking, vulnerability and threat management). Now, he heads up Innovation in Security inside BBVA Innovation Labs.
