Mirella is the Chief Technology Officer at Acenda Life Insurance (previously MLC), responsible for information security, data and technology capabilities enabling a business-wide delivery of customer and people experiences.
Mirella has extensive experience in delivering business solutions and technology / digital capabilities that enable engaging experiences. With over 20 years of professional experience, she has built and led business and technology teams across a range of industries including Education, Telco / Media, Retail Energy, Gambling, and Financial Services (Insurance, Banking & Superannuation).
Before joining Acenda, Mirella was the inaugural Chief Information and Technology Officer at Cbus, significantly evolving their Technology and Data Strategy to leverage machine learning and AI practices. Her career includes implementing start-up technology capabilities, leading Online/Internet Banking, ATM networks & Cash Operations teams alongside large digital transformation and delivery.
Mirella holds a BSc (Hons.) in Mathematical Statistics (Monash University), an MBA (Swinburne University of Technology) and Executive Certificate in Digital Models, Leadership & Practices (MIT, Boston)
