Nesho Kaurin has partnered with state and federal agencies using Hortonworks’ unique approach to analysing data-in-motion and data-at-rest since 2015.
Having initially studied in Sydney, Nesho started his IT career in 1996 in retail and corporate system integration sales. At the end of 2001, he moved to Seattle, USA, where he spent almost 6 years collaborating with Microsoft.
In 2007, he moved back to Australia, where he worked mostly around Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, .NET and SharePoint. Nesho then spent 3 years with a Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint specialist company, that were voted #1 Best Place to Work by Australia’s BRW magazine.
Subsequently, Nesho had roles at SAP as a Solution Sales Specialist role for Technology & Database. He was also a Regional Sales Manager for Splunk. He spent several years working with government and enterprise clients in Southern Australia and New Zealand. This involved big data and analytics solutions.
