Robert Champion

For over 25 years, Rob Champion has worked in a range of technical, architectural and strategy roles across Queensland Government ICT. Rob currently leads the Qld Government Cyber Security Unit in the Queensland Government Chief Information Office.  He and his team set the central information security strategy and policy for Queensland Government along with providing practical advice and assistance to agencies.  Rob has led the push to improve cyber security across Government in preparation for Qld hosting events like G20 Leaders Meetings in 2014 and the upcoming Commonwealth Games in April 2018
