Thomas has varied industry sector experience across all facets of information and communications technology. His experience spans over 30 years across Europe, Asia, USA and Oceania. He has been advisor to senior management across private, public and defence sectors on specialist information technology initiatives, with specific focus on information security. Over the past ten years, Thomas has been Information Security Manager for Air New Zealand, Auckland Council and currently with Fletcher Building. Prior to that, he was consulting to leading multinational corporations in the Telecommunications, Aviation, Banking and Finance, Manufacturing and Information Technology industries. Thomas has a deep understanding of information security governance, which is complimented by his strong technical skills. He is a strong advocate and evangelist regarded highly as a pragmatist in the area of information security.
