Amit Bhatia is the Head of Manulife Innovation Labs (LOFTs – Labs of Forward Thinking). Although he’s based out of Canada, he leads the LOFTs globally with locations in Canada, the United States, and in Asia. The labs focus is on exploring emerging technologies and searching for applications to solve customer and business problems. Previously, Amit led Manulife’s Global Technology Strategy team and helped build the Global Corporate Strategy group. Prior to Manulife, Amit spent his career at several consulting firms, most recently at Bain & Company where he focused on providing strategic advisory for private equity clients.
