Health Chief Information Officer / Department of Health and Human Services

Andrew is a change enabling leader, having successfully delivered major organisational transformations in the Financial Services, Government and Health sectors. Andrew has a professional background in strategy and planning, organisational change management, business alignment, technology enablement, risk and financial governance frameworks and large program delivery.

His current role as the Health Chief Information Officer for the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, where he is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a state wide Health Technology strategy that will meet the future health and well-being needs for Victoria.
Previous roles have included Transition Director for Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety, Chief Executive of WorkSafe and Transport Accident Commission IT Shared Solutions, Executive General Manager of Projects and Technology for the Transport Accident Commission, Chief Information Officer to the Government Superannuation Office and Head of ICT Strategy and Planning for Colonial Australian Financial Services. Andrew has also been a non-Executive Director of Alfred Health, and chaired the ICT Board committee and was a member of the Risk and Audit Committee.
