Mr. Bevan Cheong is the Chief Transformation Officer at Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd. (TMLS) and is responsible for driving changes in business and processes to meet the organization’s strategic objectives.
Bevan has over 18 years of experience in the life insurance industry, starting his career in AIA’s Actuarial department. At TMLS, he has led teams across various disciplines, such as Actuarial, Group Insurance, Bancassurance and Distribution Operations. His entrepreneurial streak drove him to start the Accident & Health Business lines, first in Manulife, and then again in TMLS.
Bevan is currently Co-Chair of the LIA Digital Subcommittee.
Bevan is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. He has a Master of Science in Health Informatics from City University, London, where he also taught the actuarial science program as an Adjunct Professor.
