Dawn Routledge is the Executive Director of the Office of the Secretary, in the new NSW Department of Customer Service. She held a similar role in the former Department of Finance, Services and Innovation since July 2018, following a temporary appointment as the NSW Government Chief Information and Digital Officer. In her current role, Dawn is the policy lead for the Department’s customer, ICT and digital reform agenda, and leads the provision of ministerial and executive support services.
Dawn joined the NSW Government in 2012 and has held a range of leadership roles driving digital and data reforms. Dawn has over 20 years’ experience in the public and private sector in NSW, the Cayman Islands and the UK. Dawn holds masters degrees in Arts and Law from University College London and the University of Northumbria. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a professional member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia.
