Don Jones is the Director of Procurement and Construction Reform, which is part of the Office of Finance and Services within the Treasury and Finance cluster.
Don joined the NSW public service in 1987, and has since worked within a number of policy and operational roles in the industrial relations, fair trading and finance portfolios.
Don commenced his current role in November 2012. It involves advising the Government on the development and implementation of the Government’s procurement reform program, including construction industry reform.
Don has graduate degrees in economics and law, and post-graduate degrees in public policy and public administration.
The role also includes a secretariat function to the NSW Procurement Board.
