Dr. Elizabeth Blink is the Acting Director, Digital & Customer Service within the Digital and Customer Communications division at the Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning. Our team is responsible for the customer centric focus of our digital platforms and ensuring we leverage the investment in the platforms the department has chosen to roll-out over the last two years. This responsibility paired with the communications arm of the division puts us at a unique advantage to leverage the stream of information flowing from each of our groups to reach the customer at the right place, at the right time on the right medium and ensure we deliver a world class customer experience.  
Me personally, I am a born and bred academic who asks why at every opportunity. This drives me to keep the needs of the customer in focus for all that we do and for all that I ask others to do. I have fallen in love with product design because it challenges the individual in the role and the company when they choose the right individual. My first role was in customer service working at an STM publisher Elsevier, where I then moved into my first product role and I have been wrestling with the design challenges of people (desirability), technology (feasibility) + commercials (viability) ever since at a number of different corporate organisations and now government.
So passionate about nutting out these problems I am a co-founder of the community Product Anonymous: where Melbourne-based product folk get together & discuss product management topics & meet others in the industry or related fields (like UX). 
I have recently been recognised as a top community builder in the 2017 list of Leading Women in Product in Australia & New Zealand.
