Edward Pinto

Chief Operating Officer - Customer Experience & Analytics / Hong Leong Bank

Edward Pinto was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Customer Experience & Analytics of Hong Leong Bank Berhad (“HLB”) in March 2014. He is a member of HLB’s Management Committee.

Mr. Pinto has over 20 years of experience at strategic and tactical levels in the banking and finance sector across the US, Asian and European markets with previous assignments in the US, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Scandinavia.  He is a seasoned Global Banking Executive with a variety of roles in P&L Leadership, Analytics, Change Management, Customer Experience and Technology & Operations.

Prior to joining HLB, Mr. Pinto was with the DBS Group based in Singapore serving as the Managing Director for Customer Experience and Analytics. He has previously held a number of senior leadership positions including CEO for GE Money Bank in the Philippines and Chief Operating officer for GE Capital Asia Consumer Finance in Japan.

Mr. Pinto holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a BA from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Xavier University.
