Geoff Neideck heads up the Data Strategies and Information Technology Group at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. Geoff is responsible for leading the development of the Institute’s strategies for acquiring and managing major data assets, for developing and delivering on ICT strategies and managing key relationships across government in support of the public sector data agenda. Geoff has extensive experience in statistics and data ranging across development and management of survey and administrative data collection, data integration and major data infrastructure projects. He has managed large national economic and social data programs at the AIHW, the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Statistics Canada and during 2017 was seconded to the Data Availability and Use Taskforce at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
