Commonwealth Bank is a global technology leader in financial services. As head of Digital, Pete is responsible for the Digital strategy, customer experience, commercial performance, innovation and project delivery for the consumer lines of business – retail banking, wealth management and small business.
As part of Pete’s responsibilities, he and his team manage CommBank’s digital assets – NetBank, commbank.com.au, the CommBank app and the CommBank Property app.
The innovative Digital@CBA team has a track record of delivering amazing experiences for five million digitally engaged customers through 45 agile scrum teams. Capabilities within the team include customer experience design, data-driven decision making and optimisation, FinTech partnerships, behavioural economics, platform engineering and delivery of a complex project portfolio.
Over the past 11 years working at CommBank, Pete has held various technology and business roles most recently as CIO of the Retail, Wealth and Business divisions, and before that head of the CommSec wholesale business, and as an architect for the CommSee lending and online platforms.
Prior to joining CommBank, Pete held a variety of technology and business architecture roles in Australia, the United States and Europe, and co-founded a UK start up in 1995.
