Rick was appointed Chief Innovation and Transformation Officer in January 2021. In this role Rick is responsible for providing leadership in business transformation, information technology, security, data and establishment of innovative digital platforms for customers and partners.
Rick has over two decades of technology, digital and strategy experience with executive roles in retail, sport, logistics and financial services across Europe, Australia and Asia. He has worked for large institutions; Barclays, AIA, NAB, Australia Post as well as high growth start-ups.
Prior to MLC, Rick was Global CTO at high growth start-up Catapult Sports and General Manager, Information, Digital and Technology at Australia Post where he also established the innovation function. He has held the positions of Chief Information Officer at AIA Australia and was a Head of Technology at NAB, where he previously led the MLC Life Insurance technology team during its earlier integration with Aviva.
Rick holds a (BSc) Bachelor of Science Physics from the University of Bristol.
