Sandra has held executive senior roles as CTO, CISO, Head of Risk, CDO and Program Director for several leading Australian organisations; NAB, Westpac, GoldmanSachs, Tabcorp, AustralianSuper, VicSuper and ISPT.
Her accountabilities included operational and second-line risk, strategy, technology, information and cyber security, data, business engagement and transformational change. Her work involved liaising with government and regulators, including working on several successful merger exercises.
As Executive Manager Technology and CTO/CISO (AustralianSuper/VicSuper/ISPT), Sandra was responsible for the development and execution of technology, data and security strategies, frameworks and roadmaps supporting the business growth agenda. She had representation on committee/s for all relevant projects, providing updates to Boards and subcommittees.
Sandra was accountable for and lead a team of specialists, external vendors and business partners and was responsible for successfully maintaining the IT risk and information security posture within Risk appetite.
Her roles at NAB and Westpac included Global Head of Architecture, Head of Risk, Enterprise Information and Systems/Change Control for Credit Risk where she established competitive, business leading information technology and data services.
At Goldman Sachs and Tabcorp, she held Group General Manager/Director roles encompassing IT Strategy, Architecture, Security, Risk and Audit where she implemented new IT solutions supporting the business strategy.
Sandra has substantial, diverse, global experience, has a degree in Applied Science-Mathematics, her strengths include critical thinking/analytical reasoning, an effective/influential communicator, coupled with an ability to pragmatically deliver.
She has been on several NFP boards, a listed board, is a member of AICD and follows hockey, basketball and American football.
