Stefan Jacob is an entrepreneur, innovator and advisor with experience in start-ups and global companies in Asia and the US. He is passionate about leveraging the power of business and technology to solve real-world challenges and drive change.
Currently, Stefan is the Head of Solaria Labs Singapore, Liberty Mutual’s innovation arm, which builds new products and services to disrupt traditional insurance models and proactively protect customers and their assets. Prior to that, he built two start-ups and worked with several other start-ups, incubators and social enterprises in Asia. He has driven on-the-ground market research in rural and urban markets, designed products and services across multiple sectors, and built partnerships with major corporations. He is as comfortable in the village as the boardroom.
Before coming to Asia, Stefan honed his strategic and analytical skills as a management consultant. He then left to help start a firm offering innovative financial products to the energy markets.
