Alex Teh has more than 25 years of Cyber Security experience as a business leader in 2 continents. Alex spent 16 years in London building a company that turned over $40mil++ in revenue servicing Government and Financial services organisations with 50 staff. His UK career was capped off with industry wins for CRN distributor of the year in 2012 and CSA personal contribution to IT security in 2013. Having sold that company in 2016, he returned home to NZ and invested in a 20 year old NZ company called Chillisoft. Based in Auckland, Chillisoft has grown from being a company well knows for ESET, to now representing analyst leading vendors such as LogRhythm, Imperva, Cyberark, Mimecast, Netskope, Extrahop, Radware, Tripwire and Cofense. In the last 3 years Alex with the 25 man strong Chillisoft team has helped build several homegrown MSSP’s who now provide Security Operation Centre services to 100’s of kiwi companies. In 2020 and 2021 Chillisoft were awarded LogRhythm distributor of the year and Reseller News – Specialist distributor of the year in 2020. In 2022 Chillisoft was awarded Imperva APJ Partner of the year.
