Lee Barnett will retire from her position as Chief Information Officer at AMP Limited, effective January 2015. She will be replaced by Craig Ryman who is currently AMP’s IT Director.
Joe Barker will leave his position as Chief Information Officer at Macquarie Group at the end of December, however the bank has yet to find a replacement.
Mark Whelan has been appointed to ANZ’s Group Management Board, as Managing Director of Global Commercial Banking, Whelan is currently Managing Director of Commercial Banking Australia.
Gary Sim will retire from his position as General Manager Service Delivery Infrastructure at Westpac Banking Corporation effective mid-2015, he has subsequently been appointed as a member of the board for Finzsoft Solutions Limited.
Paul Spiteri has been appointed as Head of Service Delivery Applications at Woolworths, and will report to former boss Clive Whincup. Spiteri served as acting CIO for Westpac for most of 2014 while the bank searched for a replacement for Whincup.
John Brisco has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, Latin America & Chief Information Officer, Emerging Markets at QBE Insurance, in addition to his role as Chief Information Officer, APAC.
Bruce Murphy will leave his role as Managing Director for BNY Mellon Investment Management in Australia to take up a role at Insight Pareto.
Tim Tez has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Metlife, joining the firm in December. Tez is currently Chief Marketing Officer at AIA.
Paul Bennett has joined MetLife as Head of Marketing and Client Experience, previously Sapient Nitro’s Vice President and National Managing Director.
Peter Baker will join Mercer Sentinel as its new leader of Specialist Investment Operations Advice Team effective November 17. Baker was previously BNP Paribas Securities Services’ Head of Australia and New Zealand.
Trevor Fisher will join Managed Accounts Holdings Limited as Head of Product, he is currently Head of Private Portfolio Management at Macquarie Group.
Carolyn Colley will join Decimal Software as Chief Executive Officer, she is currently Executive Director and Head of Personal Banking at Macquarie Group.
