FST Media is delighted to host an executive-led roundtable discussion on the theme: Priorities and Drivers of the Evolution of Cloud Networking for Government, with Ciena, at Sydney’s Park Hyatt, on Friday, July 26th, 12:00 – 2:00 pm.

Together with Jim Westdorp, Chief Technologist, Ciena Government Solutions, and Ivan Polizzi, Regional Managing Director of Ciena Australia and New Zealand, we will explore how low latency, secure and scalable networks are needed to address ever-increasing digital demands for richer, more connected experiences.

Discussion points that will be raised include:

  • As government agencies modernise networks, what are the priorities and drivers influencing decisions to evolve from private data centres towards hybrid public/private cloud and multi-cloud models?
  • Key security drivers across the network beyond the application layers and network space, including physical links between data centres.
  • The impact on network infrastructure of AI and Automation.
  • The role of regulation and governance for critical infrastructure as user expectations around network resilience and latency evolve.

This session is designed to be an opportunity to promote thought-leadership exchanges and networking among guests, as well as a deep dive into top-of-mind issues, technology trends and shifts in citizen requirements. This exclusive gathering is reserved for 10-12 Chiefs, Executives, Directors and Leads in Networks, Infrastructure and Data Security from across NSW Government’s Departments and Agencies and State Owned Enterprises.
