What is this session about?

Awareness and adherence to the Essential Eight Maturity Model are important, especially as cyber-attacks have increased in frequency and sophistication, making it challenging for all teams to constantly assess their compliance and implementation of each maturity level.

In this session, we will tackle the latest Essential Eight requirements as published by ACSC and how these mitigation strategies can help government agencies and organisations protect themselves against various cyber threats. VMware Security has experience helping our customers reach required maturity levels that fits within the mandatory 25 requirements as set by Cybersecurity NSW.

Topics of discussion will include:

  • A walk-through of the key differences between current and N minus 1 ACSC Essential Eight requirements
  • The key practical steps to consider for achieving successful organisational change as ACSC Essential Eight controls are implemented
