New Zealand’s brightest young entrepreneurs will be offered an industry insight teaser into the Vietnamese tech sector.

The Wellington-based Asia New Zealand Foundation and the government’s ASEAN strategy, in conjunction with the Young Business Leaders Initiative (YBLI) has brought together 62 leaders from every ASEAN member country to New Zealand, and will now offer entrepreneurs the chance to delve into the South-East Asian market.

The 2016 fully-funded trip will be open to chief executives or senior managers under 40 in an NZ tech business and will travel Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Participants will have the opportunity to meet government officials and senior tech entrepreneurs in Vietnam and get hands on experience of the Vietnamese business environment and fintech ecosystem.

Applications for the program will close on August 29th and the visit will run from November 9-15.
