Credit Suisse looks for Asian fintech foothold

Credit Suisse has announced a partnership with Singapore-based fintech, Mesitis, to help build its digital offerings in the Asian region.

Swiss financial service giant Credit Suisse will offer an automated account aggregation platform and report solution to its clients through an in-house digital private banking platform, thanks to a partnership agreement with Singaporean fintech, Mesitis.

The collaboration with Mesitis would see the bank’s Singapore-domiciled clients participate in a pilot program to with Mesitis’ account aggregation service.

 Credit Suisse would also roll out front-to-back automated digital client on-boarding application as part of a series of enhancements to its digital banking platform in Asia.

“Digital client on-boarding is a key initiative which will ultimately enhance a new client’s experience with Credit Suisse as well as the efficiency of our relationship managers who can focus more on servicing clients’ financial needs,” said Credit Suisse private APAC chief operating officer, Christian Huber.

Also announced this week was the appointment of Ken Pang to the position of Asia-Pacific global markets head.
