Andrew Cresp, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s chief information officer (CIO) of four years, has left the organisation, with the bank confirming the promotion of Nathalie Moss to interim CIO.
Moss, who joined Bendigo and Adelaide Bank in 2020, announced her appointment as acting CIO in a brief post on her LinkedIn page, with the bank later confirming the commencement of her new role on 5 August.
A spokesperson for the bank said the CIO switch came as a result of “changes to its technology and transformation team as it transitions to the next phase of its strategy”.
Since joining Bendigo four years ago, Moss has served as practice lead for lending technology, leading the deployment of the bank’s new broker lending platform, including the implementation of a document management system (DMS) and the delivery of enterprise collateral management capability.
According to Bendigo, deployment of the new DMS enabled the consolidation of upwards of 15 million documents across multiple systems.
Moss joined Bendigo from NAB in 2020, where she held a number of senior technology roles, including head of technology for cards and head of technology for core banking. Between these roles, from December 2016 to December 2019, she also served as NAB’s women in technology program leader.
Cresp, who also joined Bendigo in 2020 from NAB, concluded his tenure with the regional Victoria-headquartered bank on 2 August.
He played a central role in Bendigo’s tech transformation and core systems consolidation program, as well as overseeing the bank’s recent partnership with MongoDB enabling the fast-tracking of core migration.
The departure of Cresp comes just a month after Bendigo’s long-serving chief executive and managing director Marnie Baker announced her decision to leave the business.
