Financial Services is introducing a new division to provide the superannuation and wealth management industry with a comprehensive offering for Software as a Service (SaaS).

The new managed services team at Financial Synergy will be lead by global services specialist Lynne Dhami, who will focus on building a strategic central point for outsources software and solutions delivery. In addition to this, the establishment of a Centre of Excellence will ensure sustainable business developments and add to the company’s strategic overhaul.

Chief executive of Financial Synergy, Stephen Mackley, said that the new division will begin the company’s strategic offering moving forward.

“Outsourcing software requirements, specialist support and maintenance is beneficial for two key reasons. It moves platform investment from a capital expense to an operational expense for funds, and also allows management teams and investment committees to focus on what to deliver to members, rather than how to deliver to members,” he said.

Dhami will bring extensive IT and technology background to the role and plans to grow the company to be ahead of the game.
