Innovators and entrepreneurs to gather at InnovFest conference

More than 150 investors, entrepreneurs and tech innovators will come together at a two-day conference in Singapore.

The tech event, InnovFest unBound, will take place at in Marina Bay on May 17th and 18th and will centre on the impact of new technologies and digital disruption in the finance world, along with similar issues in the health, retail and media sectors.

Organised by NUS Enterprise and in conjunction with the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), the event will be part of Smart Nations Innovations for 2016. It is set to spotlight market opportunities in Asia and feature the continents top young entrepreneurs and innovators.

Angry Birds creator Peter Vesterbacka and co-founder of online shopping outlet Orami, Shannon Kalayanamitr will be among the industry speakers and the conference, which will aim to connect business, tech and communities to the public to drive adoption of new technologies.

The Smart Nation Innovations will also see Forbes magazine will also host its Under 30 Summit as part of the week-long event.
