Financial software provider Rubik Financial Limited has extended its partnership with Temenos with a renewed focus on user experience.

Financial software provider Rubik Financial Limited has extended its partnership with Temenos in a bid to overhaul its existing channel technologies with a renewed focus on user experience.

By integrating Temenos’ user experience platform, ‘edgeConnect’, in its banking operations, Rubik will be able to provide end customers with the ability to access its products and services across multiple customer touchpoints and devices — including desktop PC, smartphone, tablet or smartwatch.

Rubik chief executive, Iain Dunstan said that by using Temenos’ front-office technology, Rubik’s mutual bank, regional bank and credit union clients will be able to offer an experience “easily customised” for customer segmentation.

“By working with Temenos and utilising its user experience platform, Rubik can help mutual banks, regional banks and credit unions compete and flourish in the digital era,” Dunstan said.

“We can provide them with a powerful platform that is quick to market, scalable, functionally rich and delivers an optimum user experience.”

Delivering a “rich, dynamic, consistent” user experience, as well as enhanced accessibility, were two key priorities that Dunstan identified, with Rubik aiming to provide its clients with a key competitive advantage in a “disruptive” and “rapidly changing” marketplace.

“Mutual banks, regional banks and credit unions not only need to differentiate themselves with the nature and quality of their products and services, they also need to empower customers by providing choice and convenience in how finances are managed,” he said.

Temenos’ regional director for Asia Pacific, Martin Frick said the platform will help Rubik clients increase customer loyalty and meet the challenge posed by digital channels where customer expectations “are highest”.

“Customers are at the heart of all that we do,” he said.

“This win-win arrangement allows Rubik to continue to leverage our product portfolio, [as we] expand our presence in the Australian and Pacific markets.”
