Movers and shakers at ANZ

ANZ has bolstered its executive management team with three hires, including one newly-created role.

Glenn Haslam, who has been with ANZ for 15 years, and most recently held the position of General Manager, Deposits & Mortgages, has moved into the new General Manager Transformation role. He is now responsible for bringing together ANZ Australia’s transformation priorities to simplify its business and drive productivity improvements. He has also been the Acting Managing Director, Product & Marketing, temporarily replacing Louis Hawke who retired from the company.

Jerermy Dean, ANZ’s former General Manager, Business Banking, has been appointed General Manager, Australia Operations, replacing John Harries who took the role of General Manager, Strategic Marketing at Westpac in July.

Meanwhile, Matthew Boss joins ANZ as its new Managing Director, Product & Marketing. He comes from the Bank of America in North Carolina and has a background in retail banking finance, product management and consumer segments.

In a statement, Philip Chronican, Chief Executive Officer, ANZ, said “these appointments strengthen our Australian leadership team and provide focus on our plans to reshape the way we meet the changing needs of our consumer and business customers.”
