Roy Teo has moved back to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as Director & Head of Technology, Payments & Exchanges Development Division. He was previously Global Head of Investment Bank Technology Risk at Barclaysq.

John Brisco has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, Latin America & Chief Information Officer, Emerging Markets at QBE Insurance, he will take on the role in addition to his role as Chief Information Officer, APAC.

Lam Chee Kin has been appointed to the role of Head of Compliance at DBS Group Holdings, vacating his role as Standard Chartered’s Head of Legal and Compliance for Southeast Asia. Lam will report to the CEO and also join the bank’s group management committee.

Sue Lynn Koo will vacate the role of Head of Compliance at DBS Group Holdings to become the bank’s Head of Legal and Secretariat.

Helman Sitohang has been appointed Chief Executive for the Asia Pacific region at Credit Suisse, he will take up the new role in addition to his current duties as Head of Credit Suisse’s investment bank in Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

Eric Varvel will vacate the role as Chief Executive for the Asia Pacific region at Credit Suisse to become chairman for the bank in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Lee Lung Nien has been appointed as CEO for Citi’s Malaysian subsidiary, Citibank Berhad, previously holding the position of Regional AML Business Head, Malaysia.

Terence Gan has been appointed as Head of Financial Markets Rates Sales for Standard Chartered Bank, moving from his role as Head of Rates Sales for Asia and Head of FICC Sales for Singapore at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Danny Suwanapruti has been appointed as ANZ’s Global Head of Rates Research, and will be based in Singapore. He moves from his role as Senior Rates Strategist at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore.

Sonal Priyanka has been appointed Regional Head of Trade for Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East at Societe Generale.

Edward Ler has been appointed as President Director for Indonesia’s General Insurance Business at ACE Insurance.

YK Ha has retired from his position as Chief Country Officer for Citi in Korea, he will be immediately replaced by Jin-Hei Park who is currently Head of Markets and Banking.

Shailendra Bhandari has resigned as Managing Director and CEO of ING Vysya Bank, Uday Sareen, who is currenlty Deputy CEO, has been appointed as his successor.
