Jo Brothers will join Westpac New Zealand as  Social and Digital Innovation Director, she will leave her current role as Air New Zealand’s Global Head of Social Media and join the bank in mid-October.

Gordon Goetzmann has resigned as Chief Strategy Officer at Westpac, and will return home to the United States. Gary Thursby will take on the role on an interim basis, until a replacement is found.

Anne Weatherston, former CIO of ANZ Bank will join the board of Mint Wireless  as an independent non-executive Director.

Brett Clark will join TAL as Group CEO effective from 1 April 2015, he will leave his role as CEO of the TAL Life business division. From 1 October, Clark will take on the role of Deputy Group CEO, until the retirement of existing Group CEO Jim Minto.

Tony Pearson has been appointed as the new Executive Director – Industry Policy for the Australian Bankers Association. He was previously Chief Economist to the Federal Treasurer, Joe Hockey.

Aidan O’Shaughnessy has been appointed to the position of Policy Director – Industry Policy for the Australian Bankers Association, from his role as Senior Specialist – Strategic Policy at ASIC.

Christine Cupitt has been appointed to the position of Policy Director – Retail Policy at the Australian Bankers Association, from her previous role as Associate Director – Risk Consulting, Wealth Management Advisory at KPMG.

Nic Frankham has been appointed as the new Director, Communications and Government Relations, at the Australian Bankers Association, he will leave his role as Director of Public Affairs and Communications with Australia and New Zealand American Express Australia Limited and commence on October 7.

Julienne Loh has been appointed group head of Consumer Credit, Asia Pacific at Mastercard, vacating her role as General Manager of Singapore.

Erick Cordero has been appointed general manager, growth, at Media Super, he previously looked after business development and strategic corporate relationships at REST Industry Super.

Dr Raphael Arndt has been appointed as Chief Investment Officer at Future Fund, he vacates his role as head of infrastructure and timberlands. Barry Brakey, head of property at Future Fund, will take on additional responsibility for leading the fund’s infrastructure and timberlands team on an acting basis while a replacement is sought for Dr Raphael Arndt.

Georgina Smith will join NGS Super as an employer representative director, she was previously a school teacher and principal.
