Following a decade of working in infrastructure consulting and managed services providers, Aaron has spent nearly 7 years with the Ministry of Social Development in a breadth of roles across architecture, program delivery and software delivery. Joining the IST senior leadership team in 2020, he is responsible for the delivery of technology services into the Housing, Employment & Corporate service lines as well as the establishment and technology delivery for the Ministry’s hosted agencies such as Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People.
After leading the Ministry’s technology responses to COVID-19, Aaron’s recent focus has been on the Digital Employment Services Platform as part of the Te Pae Tawhiti transformation and the development of future corporate operating models as they implement modern SaaS platforms. Wellington born & raised, you’ll find Aaron regularly in the mountains and sea with friends and family or tinkering inside with home automation.
