Adrian Johnson is Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Based in Sydney, Adrian manages Hitachi Vantara’s business and operations in ANZ with a focus on nurturing the partner ecosystem, charting business strategy and steering ANZ to continued business growth.
Johnson joined Hitachi Vantara in 2019, and is tasked with strengthening and fostering Hitachi Vantara’s channel network and partner ecosystem in support of the digital-led transformation of organizations across the region. Johnson drives local co-creation opportunities and innovative data-driven strategies that aim to deliver business value and accelerate digital transformation for customers and partners.
Johnson is an industry veteran with over 20 years of IT experience that includes building and leading teams across Australia, Asia and the United States, and he has spearheaded high sales growth in diverse technology organizations. Knowledgeable and experienced across different domains including SaaS, cloud, data management, security, infrastructure and software, and services and consulting, Johnson has been responsible for the delivery of highly complex programs and customer projects for some of the world’s most recognised brands.
After serving as an officer in the Royal Australian Navy, Johnson held senior executive positions with Code42, Dell, Fuji Xerox, CA Technologies and Sun Microsystems backed by a master’s degree in business and IT.
