Andrew Nicholls is Executive Director, Strategy & Performance, Office of Environment & Heritage, leading business strategy and delivery, customer experience, digital, data and ICT strategy, grants, communications, ministerial support and economics functions.
Andrew has held senior positions across a diverse range of NSW portfolios including environment, transport, insurance, natural resources and land management. Andrew led reform of the Compulsory Third Party scheme at the State Insurance Regulatory Authority, and a regulatory modernisation program at the Motor Accidents Authority. In Transport, Andrew led reforms to fares, taxis and ferry regulation.
Andrew was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2018.
