Tony moved to New Zealand less than a year ago, excited by the opportunity to lead the ASB Enterprise Data and Analytics function to the next level. His deep subject matter expertise (data analytics, data science, and digital CRM) and his 20+ years of banking experience – building, leading, and optimizing extensive data, analytics, and automation teams within Citibank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Embrace Home Loans in the US – were well suited to meet this challenge in a highly competitive space.
In his short tenure at ASB, he has consolidated the analytics function, and has built a strategic blueprint for creating business-aligned data assets and world-class advanced analytics capabilities. Leading a bank wide team of 120, Tony and team are focusing on transforming data and knowledge into action and impact.
Tony holds an MBA and a doctorate in Marketing Analytics and helped found a master’s program in Analytics at Pace University. Tony also sits on the boards of INFORMS Certified Analytics Professionals and the Analytics Hall of Fame.
