Dr Eric Kordt joined the Department of Education and Training in November 2017 and has a strong background in ICT, including experience across a wide range of architecture and applications development roles. As director for Tertiary Systems Development he is responsible for the delivery of innovative tertiary solutions – providing vision and leadership to the agile based delivery teams delivering these solutions and implementing initiatives to help improve cost effectiveness, delivery timeliness and business change.
Eric’s previous role was the Director for Enterprise Architecture at the Department of Health. Prior to this he was the Director for Regulatory Applications Development in Health leading several critical reform projects. His APS career to date has taken him from the Department of Defence, to various roles across agencies that include the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and the Defence Materiel Organisation.
