Gerard Kerr – General Manager, Life Insurance Gerard Kerr joined ClearView in February 2021 as General Manager, Life Insurance. Gerard has over 35 years of international financial services experience, having worked in Ireland, UK, USA and Australia. He has a deep understanding of every facet of life insurance including product development, pricing, claims, underwriting and distribution. Accompanying his business knowledge, Gerard is an astute leader, highly skilled in building effective, engaged teams and managing periods of significant change.
Prior to joining ClearView Gerard held a number of senior roles at Zurich Financial Services Australia (formerly OnePath/ANZ Wealth) including Head of Retail Risk Insurance, Head of Life Insurance and most recently, Head of Propositions & Group Life. In this role he was accountable for the P&L of OnePath’s life insurance channels, setting and driving the strategic agenda and priorities, end-to-end stakeholder engagement and regulatory obligations.
