Mr. Jeffrey Ng has recently joined OneConnect in Hong Kong, leading Fintech provider of advanced technology-enabled Digital Banking Solutions, Digital Insurance Solutions, Digital Investment Solutions, and Software-as-a-Service Cloud Platform, covering sales, product development, risk management, operations and technology.
Prior to this role, he heads the Data Lab of BNP Paribas in APAC that developed A.I. & Data Analytics solution for various businesses of its Corporate & Institutional banking (CIB), from front to back office, and was the Vice-Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce’s FinTech Committee in Hong Kong. Before this role, he has participated in trade finance blockchain project of the bank. Since 2010, he had built the client development and Analytics team in the bank in the region.
Before BNPP, with PwC Consulting during the Financial Crisis in 2008, he had worked in Credit analytics & policies, scenarios forecasting, and capital stress testing for Commercial Banks in China. His career started as Head of MIS & Analytics in Consumer Banking with GE Money.
He graduated in Hong Kong Polytechnic University with Dual first honors in Computing and Management; MBA in Finance with Chinese University of Hong Kong.
