Johanna is the Director of Cyber Policy at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She is also Senior Policy Adviser to Australia’s inaugural Ambassador for Cyber Affairs.
Australia’s agenda for Cyber Affairs encompasses the full breadth of cyber policy issues including digital trade, cyber security, cybercrime, international security and cyberspace, internet governance and cooperation, human rights and democracy online, and technology for development.
Johanna works closely with Australia’s Ambassador for Cyber Affairs, Dr Tobias Feakin, to advance and protect Australia’s national security, foreign policy, economic, and development interests in the internet and in cyberspace.
Johanna holds a Masters of Laws (specialising in strategic cyber policy), as well as a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Political and International Studies.
