Based in Singapore, Karthik is the Director of Technology for Asia Pacific, China and Japan, with a focus on the banking and finance industry. In this role he works closely with customers to architect solutions leading to digital transformation, cloud adoption and enhanced cyber security.
With 29 years of experience in the IT Industry, Karthik held various roles in research and development, product marketing, technology consultancy and pre-sales in Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems (APAC), NetApp and Dimension Data.
Prior to F5, Karthik was with NetApp Asia Pacific as CTO and Director of Strategy and Technology. In this that role, he was responsible for evangelising NetApp’s technology and advocating solutions to customers and partners.
And before NetApp, Karthik was the CTO for Dimension Data IDC and Cloud Services, where he led teams to build and deliver cloud and datacenter services for its customers.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications.
